On the 1st June 2013, the Malvern Hills GeoCentre was officially opened by Chris Darmon, President of the Geopark Way and Chairman of the Youth Hostels Association. During the day, the Earth Heritage Trust had a hands-on display of fossils and rocks, and children were able to paint fossil replicas and land/sea-scapes.
